Here you will find a list of all of the yarns that we currently have available. Right now we are happy to offer several different weights of yarn in a variety of natural colors. Using organic dyes, we have also hand dyed some yarn. I will have these on the website soon. Please contact us with any questions or special requests.

The Icelandic sheep produces a premium fleece. The fleece is dual coated, with a fine, soft undercoat called thel and a longer, coarser outer coat called tog. Icelandic fleeces are open and low in lanolin. The weight loss when washed is significantly less than many other breeds. To read more about their fiber, click here.

Our light lopi style yarn is a single ply yarn of heavier weight. Light lopi yields about 400 yards per pound. This is a farm blend of light and dark taupey browns. This yarn has about 15% llama for added softness. Available as 8 ounce skeins or we can divide it into 4 ounce skeins for half the price.

We are very happy about how this yarn turned out. Spun from one of our nicest adult ewe fleeces, it is quite soft. Beautifully millspun to a bulky weight. Our bulky weight yarns yield approximately 800 yards per pound, averaging 6-8 WPI. This weight is typically used with number 9 to 11 knitting needles and when knitted typically has a guage of 2 to 3.5 stitches per inch.
Very soft two-ply yarn. This is our creamy outmeal color. Offered in 4 ounce skeins.

Very soft. This dark chocolate color is a wonderfully saturated dark brown/black. Offered in four ounce skeins.

We are really excited about how this yarn turned out. 40% dehaired llama and 60% Icelandic, it is gorgeous. Beautifully millspun to a worsted weight. Yields approximately 1045 yards per pound, or 261 yards per 4 ounce skein. This weight is typically used with size 7 knitting needles.
Super luxurious and soft two-ply yarn. A very rich grey color. Offered in 4 ounce skeins.

Lovely moorit (honey brown) Icelandic yarn. This 2 ply yarn spun up beautifully to a sport/DK weight. This sport/DK weight yarn yields approximately 1052 yards per pound, or 263 yards per 4 ounce skein. Moorit is considered the most sought after color of the Icelandic breed. This yarn has a nice rich, warm brown color.
