Meet Our Icelandic Sheep - Previous Breeding Rams

CERTIFIED ORGANIC.  Handsome, very white ram lamb takes after his sire and AI grandsires, Blettur and Laekur.  In conformation, he looks almost identical to Blettur.  Carries grey and spotting from sire.  AI lines include 1/4 Laekur and 1/4 Blettur for a total of 50% AI genetics.  It looked from the beginning that he would be excellent and he is: wide chest and  super chunky, compact build.  Horns are so far perfect.  Wool is above average quantity with nice amount of thel and medium-long tog.  WE liked his lambs from last year, so he went back to the breeding pen this last fall.  Paired with Lucinda and Rastagirl.
