Meet Our Icelandic Sheep - Previous Breeding Rams

A vigorous, solid black ram.  Both the dam and sire on the larger side for the breed.  Mom has huge fleece and sire has the meat build, so this ram is a nice mix of the two.  Excellent mix of AI lines include 1/4 Grani, 1/8 Munkur and 1/16 Sponn from the sire, plus 1/32 Bambi, 1/64 Noi, Morro, Molur, Peli and Hunn from the dam, for a total of 55% AI genetics.  Could carry moorit also from the dam and spotting from sire.  Grew very well as a ram lamb and showed excellent parasite resistance.   Gorgeous thick fleece with curl and even length.  Matched with 2 ewes for the 2012 lambing season:  Butterscotch and Tinkerbelle.
